Walking the Love Walk (Part 2)
Feelings don't come into it as far as faith is concerned. Now your flesh is in the habit of not liking her and it hasn’t changed yet, and it is still as dumb as it was last week, because your flesh doesn't have a mind of its own. The flesh has no mind of its own but you can train it and you have to tell it what to do.
You just tell it to put a smile on your face and go over there and greet her because she is forgiven. It doesn't matter what you want to do, you’re under the direct command of the Lord Jesus to love and forgive.
You should know that you never go by feelings because if you did, you would never receive your healing because you would keep saying how you felt and not what the Word of God said.
1 John 1:7-9 (NKJV)
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
That very same love which is ‘all God’ and ‘all love’ may be in us and He is in us. It's God the Holy Spirit shed abroad in our spirits and if you will stir it, and believe it, and have faith in it, and then walk in it, and trust that love, trust it, trust the love of God in us, trust it.
It will grow, and it will grow, and grow, and it will begin to flush all the fear out of you until there won't be any fear in you and there won't be any room for fear anymore, because perfected love CASTS OUT FEAR.
You become fearless and when you become fearless that makes you the worst thing the devil has ever heard of, and you become his wildest nightmare.
The Lord tells you to do something, you just do it without flinching because there is no fear. NO FEAR. Fear has gone and if it tries to come back tell it to get behind me.
