There is no doubt about it that everywhere that Jesus went, there was a entourage that accompanied Him where ever He went.

Jesus had many disciples or followers but He had some who He let into His inner circle.

Disciples: The 12 were chosen by Him, not the other way round

Inner Circle: Were given Nic Names

• Simon Peter (Petra - Rock),
• James & John (sons of thunder) were the 3 closest disciples
• They were the only ones to see Him transfigured
• They were the only ones He asked to go further into the Garden and watch and pray

The 9 other disciples who spent 3 years on the road living with Him and He personally was mentoring.

Friends:

Lazarus, Martha & Mary of Bethany - Jesus often stayed at their house and spent time with them. It is also possible that their father was a man called Simon who had been a leper and at some time Jesus had healed.

Women Set Free from Demonic Strongholds devoted their lives to Minister to Jesus.

So grateful were these women for being set free from demonic strongholds that they devoted themselves and their substance to ministering to Jesus (probably His disciples as well)
