Don’t Miss Out on God’s Best

Passage: Romans 4:16-22
Service Type:

God is not concerned about you age, whether you are young or old because faith is independent on age. It is true in the natural that young people have more energy, but they also have more problems.

We are going to look at some of the hero’s in faith who did not let their age hinder them and in fact they turned back time as far as their energy and capacity was concerned.

It is not God’s plan for you to slow down and retire from the age of 65, and then when you reach 70 to slowly waste away doing nothing until you die.

But if you are not living by faith, then the world motivated by Satan will convince you that you only have a short time left, so you better enjoy what you can because it’s all downhill from here.

We need to understand this fundamental principal of how God operates and how faith operates. God gives life to the dead and calls things as if they existed when they do not exist. So, if something is dead, call life. If there is something missing in your life like health, wealth, land and houses, don’t keep calling for what is there. Don’t keep saying “I will never get healed, I’m never going to be debt free, I can’t see how we will ever get a house.”

God’s method is the call for what does not exist as though it does. So, you need to meditate on His promises regarding healing and say “I’m healed” when the evidence says you are not. Meditate on god’s promises regarding houses and land and say “I have houses and land” when that in not the case in the natural. Remember faith is the evidence of things hoped for, so when there is no hope, get some and you will find it in the Word of God and you are getting some right now by hearing the Word being preached.
