Walking the Love Walk
1 John 4:8, 16 (NKJV)
8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.
Now it’s one thing to know God’s love, but it’s another thing to trust it.
God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love (of course not, because God is love and He is in us); but perfect love casts out fear (the scripture says stir up the gift that is within us, because God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. And you stir up the gift of God which is LOVE, what happens, Love flushes out all the fear in your life. Because the more you stir that gift up the more the tide starts rising and perfect love cast fear our and you get to the place where there is no place left for fear anymore. It’s gone.)
People manage fear all the time. You can have a man who masters the fear jumping out of an aeroplane where he can do it without a concern. But you take that same man and he has all sorts of fears and concerns regarding his debts and finances. He has managed it where the jumping is concerned be he hasn’t managed it where his finances are concerned.
Worry is fear dependent, fear based. so if your not born again, your unborn spirit is producing a fountain of fear. Now once you get born again, old things pass away and behold all things become new and there is no linger a fountain of fear on the inside of you but you have a fountain of love, joy, peace, long suffering, goodness, gentleness…You have a fountain of faith in there. But if you continue to feed fear in there, it will get in your spirit.
And you will be going along in life and someone might ask you if you have fear inside of you. And you reply, “No I haven’t got any fear in me”. but it has been resident there all the while.
If you violate the law of love, fear is right there, crouching and waiting to devour you. Because that’s what it feeds on. The moment that you violate that love walk and step of the love line, fear is right there.
You start worrying about stuff
