Keep Pressing In (Part 2)

Passage: John 5:1-9

Concerning the man who had an infirmity for 38 years, when we look closer at this man’s circumstances and condition, we can see that at one time he must have had faith, he was full of hope, he was full of expectation and he was full of desire to be healed.

So, is it possible for your faith to become dormant? I believe that his faith had become dormant.

What does dormant mean? Asleep, sleeping, slumbering or comatose. Meaning that your faith is asleep or comatose (in a coma)

I have seen this in so many Christians, they start out reading their bible every day, they confess healing scriptures 3 times a day and every morning religiously they start their day in prayer. You would go to their house, & their bathroom wall and mirror was full of scriptures, there used to be wonderful confessions on their fridge and on their kitchen cupboards as well. Their video library was full of great ministry, but now these are all gone, and a large collection of DVD movies are in their place.

The evidence of a fire that burned so bright in their spirit is no longer visible to other people. It’s like their faith is in a coma. They have the form of godliness, but they deny the power. Most of these people have lost their desire.

We meet at the Pasterfield Community Centre at Horizon Ave, Cameron Park. Please call for service times
