Most Pentecostal Christians believe in divine healing, but not many experience healing as a every day occurrence in their world. So many have faith in God's ability to heal them but they doubt God's willingness to heal them. Therefore faith and doubt are existing at the same time in many people.

Numbers 21:5 (NKJV) And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.”

As a result the Lord allowed deadly snakes to go among the people and bite them so many of them died because they kept winging and moaning and saying that we have come into the wilderness to die. Now we have an issue with how the Old Testament has been translated because there was no English word for the Hebrew word that meant allowed, so it was translated that the Lord sent. You see, God will allow what you allow, He will allow what you call for. The Children of Israel were calling ‘to die in the wilderness’ and they believed that they would die in the wilderness.
