The Fundamentals of Faith (Part 2)
Part 2 is still on the the Law of Confession but in order to understand how faith and confession works we have to understand the believer’s authority and how it activates things in spiritual realms. God has put in place spiritual authority and who has the highest spiritual authority on earth? The highest spiritual authority on earth is man. Did you hear that? We have authority on earth. God gave us authority when He put Adam into the garden.
God made man in His own image and likeness and we are the only created beings on earth with the power of intelligent speech. And for good reason, because we were designed to use our power of speech to obtain whatever we desire. We were never designed to toil to get things, toiling only came in as a result of the curse but we were designed to call things into existence just like God who calls those things which do not exist as though they did.
In the book of Daniel an angel was sent to bring the answer to Daniel’s prayer, well we all have an angel assigned to us and angels are assigned to be ministering spirits for the heirs of salvation.
Hebrews 1:13-14 New King James Version (NKJV) 13 But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
Angels are assigned to get things to you from the heavenly realm where God is. But they can only act upon words spoken in faith based on the word of God and in the name of Jesus. They don’t have authority on earth, you do, so they cannot act for you without your confession of God’s word. And likewise, God can’t act on your behalf without your confession because He is not God of the earth, you are. He is seated in heaven with Jesus at His right hand making intercession for us and there is everything that you will ever need while on this earth and the only way to transfer it from there to here, or from the invisible to the visible is by your faith-based confession.
